more=&#8221;Continue Reading&#8221; less=&#8221;Read less&#8221;]<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-network-restoration-progress\"><strong>Network Restoration Progress<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wireless network coverage has been restored in over 91% of affected cities and municipalities in the Visayas region and 98% in Mindanao so far, including 98% of services in Bacolod and 84% in Palawan.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Smart\u2019s technical teams are still hard at work to bring back full coverage to all of the affected areas.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MINDANAO<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Wireless &#8211; over 98%<\/li>\n<li>Fixed &#8211; 99%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">VISAYAS<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Wireless &#8211; 91%<\/li>\n<li>Fixed &#8211; 70%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PALAWAN<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Wireless \u2013 84%<\/li>\n<li>Fixed &#8211; over 90%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">*This list will be updated regularly (<a href=\"https:\/\/smrt.ph\/OdetteNetworkRestoration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">more updates can be found here<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Libreng Tawag\/Charging Still Ongoing<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the meantime, Smart\u2019s Libreng Tawag and Libreng Charging (free call and free charging) stations across Visayas and Mindanao continue to help connect families and individuals with their loved ones affected by the super typhoon.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Smart has also set up free public WiFi stations and SIM card distribution within the affected areas.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here\u2019s a list of Smart\u2019s Libreng Tawag and Charging Stations across Visayas and Mindanao:<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"1024\" width=\"818\" class=\"wp-image-4334\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.smart.com.ph\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/ODETTE-\u239cLIBRENG-TAWAG_CHARGING-IMG-INSERT.jpg?w=818\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Smart Stores\/PLDT Sales and Service Centers Are Now Open<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally, many Smart Stores as well as PLDT Sales and Services Centers located in Odette-hit provinces have already resumed operations to serve the needs of customers and subscribers.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More Smart Stores and PLDT Sales and Services Centers should also resume operations once malls in the affected regions begin to open once again.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Find a list of operational stores through the <a href=\"https:\/\/smart.com.ph\/Pages\/stay-smart\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Stay Smart website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lastly, Smart, PLDT, and the PLDT-Smart Foundation have worked with its partners and volunteers to bring food packs, drinking water, and generator sets to the hardest-hit communities in the country.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some of these include those located in Siargao and Dinagat Island, among many others across Mindanao and Visayas.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The PLDT-Smart Foundation along with Smart, PLDT, Cignal TV, PayMaya, and the rest of the MVP Group have also raised over PHP 4 Million in donations for those affected by super typhoon Odette.<\/p>\n<p>[\/expander_maker]<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Smart Communications continues its restoration and relief efforts and initiatives in areas affected by super typhoon Odette.
